BABY STEPS

I know, I know.....I've been yelled at enough. Let's just say the adjustment to 5 kids has been harder then planned.

I would first like to introduce you to the newest member of our family.

Easton Jason , born August 25th 2008, weighing in at 7lbs. 9 oz.

There were a few complications. I only had him for about 5 minutes before they took him from me. Right away they could tell he was having some breathing trouble. He was in the NICU for a day before I even got to see him again and this is what I walked into......

Yes, in the middle of that mess is my baby! Hooked up to every machine and wires coming out of everywhere!

It was very scary for me especially after having 4 babies that never even left my room and then walking into this. Apparently it's normal, or as they call it "The Wimpy White Boys". I guess more white boys come out with this type of breathing trouble then other babies. He was in the NICU for a week before he was able to come home and a day & 1/2 after I was already home. All is fine and he is now my spoiled rotten little boy!

I would be lieing if I said he was so easy and wonderful, so I won't, but He is a blessing to our family and we can't imagine any day that goes by without our baby Easty! He is loved by all his brothers and sister and loves his mommy and daddy the most.....so much we can't set him down without a full on tantrum! Hey, he is our last so I guess he is making sure we are attached to him for every last baby moment. YES he is our last. I was tied up and to make sure or as Scott likes to call it "Double Teaming" he was snipped!

B-Ball Camp Rocks

Check out the Next Generation!
June was a little crazy for us. The kids were in swim lessons, swim team, summer school, and basketball camp! Cousins....Lil Conway, Dallen, Tyton, Talbot, Cooper, and Parker posing with the Mesa High Basketball coaches! Watch out Mesa High, here they come! Dallen loved basketball camp. It certainly was fun to watch the games. The kids sometimes forgot to dribble, shot at the wrong basket, and fouls got a little crazy....but it was the cutest! Hey, they are 4, 5 and 6, give them time and they will be hard to STOP!

CRAZY COUSINS!

GIRLS CAMP!!!!

Most of you know I went to girls camp this year. It was a blast! I was 6 months pregnant when I went and they wouldn't let me do anything fun. No rock wall or zip line, but I did get to go on the hike! It really was a wonderful experience. Our ward only has about 8 girls. Well that weren't YCL's this year, and of those 8 girls at our camp, only 4 are active girls. So it was a great experience for everyone to bond together. I think the spirit there truly touched everyone and I hope that it was a great experience for everyone as much as it was for me!
Morning Exercises
The YCL's leading us in something!
Our wonderful camp sight!
Go Courtney and Carly...do a little dance, make a little noise!
Emily! (I wanted you to be special)
Go Meadowgreen Ward...can't wait for Ward camp 2009!

I'M BACK.....

OK, so I have been a big flake lately on keeping up with my blog. To be honest I haven't even logged on once since my last post. It has been one crazy summer! I was at my cousins surprise party last night (Happy 31st Birthday Debra Grover (even though you barely look 12) her cute husband Ryan thew her a surprise party and did a great job)!!! anyhow there was some firm ordering of me to get on and update! So here I am....

The Dance Recital:
Let me tell you, I am certain that I will force Taryn to do dance her whole life (well maybe until she really fights me) just for the costumes alone! I about died when I saw how cute the costumes were. Come recital evening my "firecracker" of a daughter did not let me down! It was a performance that will go down in history. I think she only pushed one girl out of her way when she got too close to Taryn and during the recital Emma (her cousin) somehow moved 2 girls down to be next to Taryn and she was telling her to go back.....all this during the dance!!! I have to admit it was a long day for such a little 3 year old, but I think it ended up being OK in the end because she got to wear make-up! Now she thinks my make-up is hers! This was a memory I'm sure I'll never forget!

Preschool Graduation

Taryn has officially graduated from Ms. Jan's Preschool!
Taryn has had the privilege of attending Jan Hall's preschool. Jan has been teaching for many YEARS. It was a little bitter sweet to watch this graduation, since this will be Jan's last year of teaching and we will truly miss her. She is an amazing teaching and has amazing helpers.
We have 1 more year before she can go to Kindergarten, so next year she will be attending the "Jungle Explorers Preschool" taught by a friend of mine in my ward that just started last year.
May she enjoy Taryn's STRONG personality and of course her willingness to learn!!
Congratulations Taryn we are so proud of you!!!

Logan Turns 1

Look at that cute boy! My baby boy has turned 1. He is Scott's best friend, he absolutely loves his daddy. He has continued to be my Angel Baby (which is what I call him). He is my very first cuddle bug, which he is growing out of, but I certainly have enjoyed until now. He is sweet and loving, easy to please, he hardly ever cries and if he does it lasts only a few seconds. He only gets fussy when he's hungry, tired or poopy and I usually know which one he wants so he's a piece of cake to deal with. He's finally been getting in some teeth, try 4 at the same time! Now that those have finally all come in he is a much happier little guy. We all just love him, he is a special part in our family and wouldn't be complete without him!!
Happy Birthday Logsters!
Nothings better then getting into that yummy cupcake!
oops, they caught me~

Talent Show

Here is the cute kids of Mrs. Watkins class! They did such a great job in the Talent Show. Their skit was to the Beach Boys song "Be true to your School". Sis. Stradling, Thanks, you did an amazing job!!!!! They all loved it!
